From first sketch to your hands
From my sketchbook to your finger, here's everything that happens in between.
The Sketch
Everything starts with my Ipad. Before any silver is touched, I sit and draw, rough, almost illegible, just to get the feeling out. There's no pressure in a sketch. Some become rings and some quietly get discared.
Stone Hunting
Once a design feels right, I go in search of the stones. I walk through markets, see hundreds of pieces, hold them to light and wait for the one that feels just right. I like to believe that every ring finds it's own stone, like a design finding its own form.
Gathering Silver
With stone chosen and sketch in hand, we gather what's needed, fine 925 sterling silver wire and sheets, measured and cut to the requirements of each design. The right gauge of wire. The right weight. Every gram counts.
The Ring Skeleton
Our skilled team of artisans shapes the band, builds the setting and solders each joint with precision. The skeleton is the architecture, it determines how the ring feels on the finger and holds its shape years from now. We don't rush this process.
First Polish
Before the stone goes in, the ring gets its first round of polishing. Rough edges are filed down. The surface is smoothed. This is the unglamorous, essential work of making something safe and structurally sound.
Stone Setting
Each stone is placed by hand, positioned, aligned, and set with prongs or bezel depending on the design. No two stones sit identically, because no two stones are identical. The ring stops being silver and starts being itself.
The Veyna Signature
Every Veyna ring carries two marks: our logo and the 925 purity stamp. It's a proof that what you're wearing is genuine sterling silver. Done with precision laser engraving, permanent and clean. Our word to you, pressed into the metal.
Final Polish
We polish by hand and machine both, working into every curve, every edge, every millimetre until the silver reflects the world back. We hold it up. We turn it slowly. If something doesn't belong, we go back. If not, it's ready to be yours.
Packed with Care
Each order is nestled by hand into our Veyna ring box, alongside a silver polishing cloth and our gratitude card. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is rushed. Every box that leaves here has been packed with love.
